Client Lead (m/f/d) Berlin

Forte Digital builds relevant digital products for our clients by combining the power of data, technology, and design.
This role requires an experienced and entrepreneurial leader to drive the growth of our client relationships and project portfolios in the digital consultancy space. You will build on existing structures and client base to significantly impact the success of our digital transformation offerings and the future of our company in the DACH region. This position is part of the client development unit, reports directly to the Managing Director, and holds full commercial responsibility for our clients.

You should be based in Berlin or Munich to join our Forte Team in Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring long-term and successful business relationships. Identify new business opportunities and develop customized solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
  • Strategic Digital Growth Consulting and Advisory: Detect opportunities in the digital share for our clients and advise our clients on strategic digital transformation issues and support them in developing and implementing digital strategies that drive their business forward. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure clients receive cutting-edge insights and recommendations
  • New Business and Client Development: Win new clients with the support of the management and craft teams. Shape client development and account strategy to multiply the revenue.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and designers to align project goals and deliverables.
  • Contract Negotiations: Conduct contract negotiations and be responsible for the creation and review of proposals and contracts.
  • Commercial Responsibility: Manage the financial aspects of client accounts, ensuring profitability and growth in alignment with company goals.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on project performance, client satisfaction, and key metrics to stakeholders. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and client out comes.

Required skills:

  • At least 8 years of experience in client management and consulting roles within the digital or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, technology trends, and industry best practices.
  • Experience working with Scrum teams and applying agile techniques and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in high-performing and fast-paced environments.
  • Extensive technical understanding within decoupled software architecture (e.g., headless CMS, REACT frontends) and experience with DXP platforms and eCommerce architectures.
  • Proficiency in usingConfluence, Jira & Jira Service Desk, or Azure DevOps.
  • University degree in computer science, IT, business, or a related field.
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
