Senior UX Designer (m/f/d) Berlin

We create meaningful experiences and deliver value across the entire customer journey all while working in joint interdisciplinary teams with our clients.Your role as Senior UX Designer is pivotal in shaping the user experience of our digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and meet the highest standards of usability.

You should be based in Berlin to join our Forte Team in Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts. Ensure all designs are user-centered, accessible, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive user research to gather insights into user behaviors, needs, and motivations. Utilize various research methods including interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure seamless integration of UX design into the product development process. Advocate for user needs and design best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze usability tests to validate design solutions. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results to enhance user satisfaction and product usability.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital products.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level UX designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the design team.
  • Present design concepts and research findings to stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind design decisions and advocating for user-centered solutions.

Required skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in UX design, with a proven track record of designing successful digital products. Experience in leading UX design projects from concept to completion.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and prototyping tools like Axure. Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on UX design.
  • Expertise in user research methodologies and usability testing. Ability to synthesize research findings into actionable design insights.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, interaction design, and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Full professional proficiency in German and English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative design solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced,environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field.
